12 Days of Holiday Joy: Day 3
Day #3 is all about Health!
The ability to move, jump, dance and feel good inside and out is essential to having joy in your life. The holidays often give us excuses to skip the gym, go to one to many parties and eat indulging foods that normally are not around. Before you know it you put on 5 pounds since Halloween and are feeling bad about your choices and self. Do yourself a favor and get going! Hit the gym, take long walks or jogs, do the stairs at work.. it all counts. It will do your body good, but your mind even better and giving you energy while warding off anxiety and stress.
Also, make some healthy choices when it comes to food this holiday. I do not want to live in a world that has no pie or Christmas cookies! :) But have a small slice or 1 cookie and pair it with fruit or veggies. Be sensible and your joy will quickly come back to enjoying what matters most this holiday.
